Apprenticeships Unlocked 2026
Keighley Made members were strongly represented at the Apprenticeships Unlocked event earlier this month. Alongside a Keighley Made stand promoting all members, Teconnex, Byworth Boilers, Ex-Pressed Steel Panels and Brooksbank Valves also showcased their businesses.
Over 900 students attended, engaging positively and making the most of the advice and insights shared on the stands.
Our members also took part in Keighley College’s National Apprenticeship event, which welcomed more than 300 pupils, many of whom joined roundtable sessions with local employers.
New Technical Engineering Centre at Keighley College
Fantastic to see so many of our members at the official opening of the new Technical Engineering Centre at Keighley College last week!
Michael Parkinson OBE, from Airedale Springs cut the ribbon in front of forty representatives from local manufacturing businesses.
This was followed by a tour and the opportunity to spend time with some of the current engineering apprentices in both a workshop and classroom environment.
It was an amazing event and a valuable opportunity to connect with manufacturers from the local community! 👏
